Supporters gather at rally for teachers

Parents, students, teachers and other supporters of the Nova Scotia Teacher’s Union rallied outside of the Nova Scotia Province House in downtown Halifax yesterday during the cold and late hours of the night. The crowd began to form at about 10:00 pm. Speeches were given and hot chocolate was poured while the group listened to a variety of speakers and showed their support for teachers across the province who are against Bill 75.
