President Cooper has reinstated the Budget Advisory Committee, a committee of faculty, admin and students, to review the coming year’s budget and recommend cuts and changes. The student position, and later the committee as a whole, was axed the year before by former president Anne Leavitt.

King has signed a four-year extension to its contract with Sodexo, which was set to expire in June 2013. Instead, Sodexo will continue to operate out of Prince Hall until September 2017.
