The Watch is electing a publisher

Election to be held Monday, September 10th at 4:30 p.m.

The Watch is currently seeking a new publisher for the 2012-2013 year. This position is an executive position, chosen by an election process at a meeting in September.
The job details, as per our constitution:
The Publisher shall, based solely upon their discretion, have the power to reject any article for publication if they deem it libelous. The Publisher shall be concerned with the administration of the newspaper. Duties of the publisher shall include but not be
limited to
(i) Representing the newspaper as a society to the King?s Students? Union, the college administration, and the external community.
(ii) Calling and organizing the chairing of meetings
(iii) Overseeing the ?nancial management of the newspaper in conjunction with
the Treasurer.
(iv) Overseeing constitutional debates and amendments.
(v) Organizing distribution of the newspaper in conjunction with the Production
Manager.
(vi) Keeping the of?ce in order.
(vii) Drawing up and maintaining a voters list.
(viii) Co-signing all cheques.
All people applying for an executive position, such as the Publisher, must have contributed to the Watch in the past, in accordance with the Watch constitution. Please view our constitution for more information: Watch constitution
