A couple of corrections

The KSU does have a procedure for the referendum. We apologize for stating the opposite. The KSU’s procedural handbook states:

74. Proposed referenda shall be publicized with a public forum, moderated by the CRO with one speaker for and one speaker against the issue at hand. This forum shall be held on King’s College Campus no later than 14 days after the referenda motion passes at a General Meeting or Council Meeting, with referenda elections held no more than five business days after the public forum.

There is not a no speaker lined up tonight. Union president Gabe Hoogers said after advertising no side applicants in TWAK before break, they received no takers. They have not (as far as we can find in our inboxes) advertised beyond that (arguably inopportune) time. The result being no “against” speaker required by the handbook.
The Canteen will be called simply King’s Galley, not HMCS King’s Galley. They hope to open by February, if the referendum passes.
