A crowd gathered at Grand Parade Square in Halifax on January 21 to take part in the local contingent of the Women’s March on Washington, held in solidarity with those who marched in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. The original march started in response to Donald Trump’s recent election. Marches took place across the country and the world.
